I feel that I need to update my readers on what has been going on in my life, and why I haven’t posted very regularly in the recent past.
God has blessed me and my family with an awesome ministry opportunity! On March 19th I began working as the Preaching Minister for the East Side Church in Snyder, TX. This is an amazing group of people who have simply love others with the love of Christ. I have never been around a more kind, welcoming, and inviting group of Christians. I can guarantee if you come to East Side you’ll find the same to be true.
God has blessed us mightily with this congregation and our new home, and has shown us time and time again that this is where He wants us working, and that He is blessing our work here.
Needless to say a transition like this has occupied quite a bit of our time (all of it really…) but now that things are settling down a bit, my writing will pick back up. I intend to post at least once a week here, and also link to some other material I create, such as articles, sermon videos/podcasts (the featured image is from my current sermon series!), and the like.
No matter where you live, or what you believe, I feel that we can grow together by sharing our ideas, our beliefs, and our doubts here. I hope you continue to read, and that you share the articles you like (and don’t like) with others. This blog is a safe place for discussion, whether we agree or not. But in all things, may we all grow to be more Christ like, and may God be praised by what we do here.
